Summary/Abstract: It’s been assumed that a quality of vocational education is mostly perceived from the perspective of usefulness graduates in the labor market to what extent of educational offer is tailored to the expectations of employers and how potential employees are prepared to function on constantly and dynamically changing labor market. Since the socio-economic and political changes that took place after 1989, vocational education, which is considered as one of the most important processes in development of society and its economy is subject to criticism of a large part of employers who point to a significant shortage in the competences of graduates vocational educators in traditional system. Demands to change the existing state and introduction of a dual education system that has proven itself in many EU countries are more and more boldly appearing. It’s in system of vocational education that the intensification of cooperation between school and employer has a real impact on quality of vocational education and as a result on the actual competence of graduates is why its seen as a way of success. This article considers selected aspects of dual vocational education system and assumes its right way to shape desired professional competences which can be an instrument for regulating demand and supply in modern labor market.
