Pastoral letter at the Resurrection of the Lord – 2016

Summary/Abstract: Jerusalem is the "City of Peace", in which Jesus Christ entered triumphantly, was crucified and rose from the dead, an important spiritual and holy center of the world for the three monotheisms: Judaism, Christianity and Islam. The origins of Jerusalem and the main stages of its history, which culminates with the times of our Savior Jesus Christ and continue to this day, are reviewed. The history of the Temple in Jerusalem is then briefly told, and a description of it is given, as well as of the main religious landmarks of the holy city.
