Summary/Abstract: The author shows that the collaboration o f the English Slavist with V . Briusov and K. Balmont, especially in the journal „The Athenaeum”, became very intensive and bilateral. The significance of their relationship led to, above all, a mutual exchange of spiritual values of two nations in the East and the West.
