Summary/Abstract: The essay deals with the Russian literary heritage of the well-known Zionist leader and man of letters Vladimir (Zeev) Jabotinsky. He began his literary career as a Russian journalist and translator, and his main literary works were written in Russian. His critical articles on Russian culture and literature are also of special interest. The emphasis of this study is put on necessity to investigate Jabotinsky’s Russian works in the wide context of Russian literature of the 1st half of the 20th century.
