Digital environment as evangelization space based on Pope Francis' post-synodal apostolic exhortation Christus Vivit

Summary/Abstract: This text is the analysis of pope Francis’ message in the post-Synodal Apostolic Exhortation concerning digital environment as an important area of new evangelization. The authors set an objective to present the chances and threats related to the digital environment based on the pope’s Apostolic Exhortation Christus Vivit and to present the pope’s proposals concerning the methods of using the internet for evangelization purposes. We applied the following research methods: content analysis, theological-pastoral analysis. This text is a review. The results and conclusions/cognitive value: the research demonstrates that it is important to engage Catholics in the evangelization mission through new media.
