The Treq tool in the process of determining Polish-Czech translation pairs

Summary/Abstract: The article is devoted to the use of the Treq corpus tool in the proces of determining language pairs in Polish-Czech translation. It provides a characteristics of textual resources found in the InterCorp parallel corpus and focuses on their usability in translation of various text genres. Additionally, article describes different functionalities of the TreQ tool. In order to illustrate its advantages and disadvantages the author made an attemt to determine Czech equivalents for the Polish word ciacho.
