Prime impact of the coronavirus epidemic on social services in the czech republic

Summary/Abstract: In the paper we present the view of the corona-virus pandemic’s effect on the social services in our conditions. The mentioned effect was registered thanks to statements provided by social workers, management workers and workers in social services. Individual data-points were obtained using polls. The occurred situation was by all questioned participants primary evaluated, following Lazarus, as being burdening up to stressful. Within secondary evaluation at the level of experience, we have gotten an idea of what coping mechanisms were used by individual participants. We arrived to a notion of how the occurred situation was interpreted by individual participants, how and how successfully participants acted in this situation, which allowed us to partially approximate cases of good practice, which can become the expressed experience. Consequently, this knowledge can be applied in similar situations in the future.
