Summary/Abstract: This publication focuses on attitudes towards homelessness and the experience of direct or hidden homelessness. The text outlines the stereotyped image of homeless people and their sub-characteristics. The data obtained from the described research investigation can serve different groups at different levels - e.g. in the framework of awareness-raising activities, formal education, professional training of social workers or in the course of establishing a relationship between helpers and homeless people.
