Summary/Abstract: The paper presents a pilot project for empowering teamwork and learning by creating shared visions for integrated city-based educational networks in the area of Sofia. It was done by an expert group of the Multi-university Institute of Educational Management – INTERAULA and was financially supported by the local authorities. The results show that there are strong practical conditions for the implementation of the ideas and practices of the LEARNING CITIES concept in Bulgarian context.
