Summary/Abstract: This paper pesents a theoretical and methodological framework pertaining to: the diagnosis and treatment of strabismus and low vision; the psycho-physiological elements of visual behaviour involved in visual training, beginning with early intervention; the correctional, compensatory and formative objectives of visual training; the characteristics of the perceptive-motric structuring of graphic space in case of low vision persons; the psycho-paedagogical aspects of acquiring reading skils by low vsion persons.
