“Interculturality in the European space through the interuniversity contacts: problems, challenges and solutions

Summary/Abstract: Nowadays, the European space is one of communication, of interculturality, which tries not only to overcome barriers but to give them up through acceptance,cooperation, involvement. This article proposes an approach to interculturality from the perspective of inter-university exchanges and mobility. We will address several directions of analysis, following the challenges and solutions that the academic environment offers to create lasting relationships and important connections in achieving academic progress and increasing the quality of education. Besides, the study highlights how, through jointinter-university projects, intercultural communication produces an open dialogue between different mentalities, cultures, histories, and traditions, relying on integration and equity.
