Summary/Abstract: The author of this study, based on a profound analysis of Vasile Goldiş’s socio political and philosophic works and practical activities as a political leader, deputy and minister, outlines the moral and spiritual profile of the personality of the great Romanian scholar and patriot, one of the Masterminds of the Great Union of December 1, 1918. Shaped in a sacerdo tal environment, receiving a Christian education, Vasile Goldiş’s personality was focused on faith and the Christic love of peo ple, nations and humanity at large. All attitudes, decisions and actions undertaken by the Transylvanian politician, teacher and man of culture were inspired from the principles of Christian morals. In this context, Goldiş brought his contribution to the development of political and administrative ethics, the ethics of international relations, didactical ethics and clerical hierarchy, to the creation of the new moral order in Europe, so that, through the moral and spiritual profile of his personality, he pertains to the apostolic or heroic typology.
