Summary/Abstract: The author aims to highlight a number of unique materials from The Archives of the National TV&Broadcasting Company of The Republic of Moldova (IPNA Compania „Teleradio-Moldova”), included into the personal file of the conductor Dumitru Blajinu and other musicians of the Folclor orchestra, which provide valuable information on the subject, reflected in various official decisions, in the excerpts from the minutes, in radio and TV programs, including some testimonies of artists of the epoch. The studied documents are — in general — little known and poorly problematic in the field of national ethnomusicology, still strongly influenced and mechanically anchored by the retrograde ideological vision of Soviet historiography. The documentary information irrevocably proves the fact that the year of the foundation of the Folclor orchestra is 1967.
