Summary/Abstract: The paper reviews the tasks, functions and aims of the institutions exercising children’s rights. Nowadays exclusive concern is given to the institutions which care about children’s rights and guarantee their implementation. The functions, tasks and aims of these institutions define the main roles of the workers who are responsible for guaranteeing children’s rights: to be an organizer, consultant, informant, investigator, and psychologist. The aim of the institutions is to develop a mechanism and national strategies which would guarantee exercise of children’s rights.
