Summary/Abstract: The article reviews the topic of the optimistic attitude and the feeling of subjective wellbeing concerning the individual’s intention to emigrate in another country. The main theoretical aspects of the given phenomenon are presented, which aspects show a direct connection between optimism, subjective wellbeing and the decision of permanent emigration.
