Summary/Abstract: The issue of social benefits in labor law is an important research topic, and at the same time an extremely important and constantly current topic. In view of the importance of the employer’s obligation to meet the life needs of employees that do notfall within the content of the employment relationship, i.e. in the sphere of mutualrights and obligations of the parties related to the employee’s performance of paidwork, the purpose of this study was to systematize and analyze a number of socialbenefits regulated by law work. The article presents a catalog of social benefits paid bythe employer to the employee. The employer was obliged to provide them with benefits such as holiday pay, sick pay, pay for raising professional qualifications, parentalprotection benefits, pay for occasional layoffs, employee severance pay, compensatory allowances for specially protected employees, pay for occupational medicineexaminations. , benefits paid under the Act on the Company Social Benefit Fund.
