Summary/Abstract: Pedagogical interaction is one of the key concepts of pedagogy and the scientific principle that underlies the upbringing and development of personality. Pedagogical interaction in higher education institutions is first and foremost a collaboration of teachers and students to realize the goals of the educational process. Pedagogical interaction is a two-way process in which the teacher and the student are subjects with one common goal - their successful learning. Young people have their own expectations about the role of the teacher, but at the same time they do not see it as a guiding role, but a facilitator. This fact requires the teacher to apply in teaching such methods and techniques with which to motivate, to give an opportunity to express an opinion, to ask non-standard questions and to feel involved in the whole process of learning. This requires that future educators be trained not only in the application of innovative interactive methods, but also in understanding the nature of the changed type of interaction between the main actors in the education system. The future educator will be ready for this new role if sufficient time is given in his / her professional training to form the skills for the theatrical-pedagogical interaction, which ensures the dialogue of the educational process increases the motivation for learning and creates interest. The profession of teacher is close to the profession of artist. The problem of the formation of theatrical pedagogical skills of future pedagogical specialists is addressed in two directions: - Regarding the theoretical preparation of students, related to the nature of puppet art. Introducing them to the theatrical doll as a plastic work and as a construction, with the ways and means of realization and in material, with the specifics of the puppet stenography and with the components of the puppet theatre environment. Students gain basic knowledge of the professional environment in which puppet-theatre activities take place. They get acquainted with the history and the current state, as well as the directions of the development of puppet theatre as performing arts. - Regarding the formation of theatrical pedagogical skills of students for the application of puppet art in the educational process in Bulgarian language and literature in the initial stage of the basic educational degree (methodical organization of puppetry, general rules of puppetry); types of dolls and their production; using puppet theatre as a form of organizing extracurricular reading lessons. The possibilities of puppet theatre for developing imagination and logical thinking are outlined; stimulating speech, articulation; promoting social interaction; developing sensory perceptions and fine motor skills.
