Summary/Abstract: The second document, related to the RomanianFrench Medical School, received as a gift from my great professor and spiritual mentor, Augustin Z.N. Pop, is a official duel report, dated September-October 1838, between two Sorbonne students, namely Saillard and Kretzulescu, the latter being Nicolae Kretzulescu, who studied medical school in Paris between 1847–1939 and who returned home, became University internal medicine lecturer and Romanian politician, ”Forty-eighter” and prime-minister of Romania for three times: 1862–1863, 1865–1866 and 1867. In 1843 he writes, in Romanian, ”Manual of descriptive anatomy”, many other medical books, but not only. One of the three witnesses mentioned in this official report is his friend, dr. Davilla. The duel included guns, but fortunately nobody was hurt, the two young men both declared themselves even and decided to end the conflict from then on. For this matter, the witnesses signed the official report.
