Summary/Abstract: In the context of complex developments in the security environment, there is a growing tendency to capitalize on the potential of strategic analysis to generate trends and developments by providing early warnings to avoid strategic surprises. This article emphasizes the importance of an effective link between intelligence analyst and intelligence consumer, a determinant factor for strategic analysis in the context in which the strategic component is often an integrator of tactical events that depend on a large number of variables. In this sense, a crucial role is attributed to feedback, as part of the intelligence cycle, through which information analysts can find out the degree of accuracy and usefulness of the products developed and in what direction they should orient their future work. At the same time, beneficiaries have the opportunity to know howto work with analysts, as well as what to ask for and what to offer, including telling them that a situation has already been known so that they receive information that will improve the decision-making process.
