Summary/Abstract: The article focuses on the development of communication of children in pre-primary education with literary texts and on activating methods of creative drama. In a kindergarten, they open new possibilities to teach children to communicate, actively cooperate with the group and to explore the surrounding world in active creative activities. Creative drama, one of the activating methods, is based on experiential and cooperative learning; enables a full range of communication techniques; builds confidence; creates space for self-realization; and builds on the creative potential of the child.
