Summary/Abstract: Prerequisite for making education more effective is identifying learning needs of individuals. Only on their basis, effective training methodology, innovative educational programs, courses, and so on can be developed. The aim of the study is to identify the educational needs of pedagogical employees in primary education in connection with the introduction of inclusive education. The study presents employees from Kosice region and Presov region (N = 247). In the research, a non-standardized questionnaire, statistical methods of descriptive statistics, factor analysis, comparative analysis, and Kruskal-Wallis Test for three and more independent selection were used. The results show the low interest of pedagogical employees in the training topics and educational programs related to the current needs arising from the changes in Slovak education under the influence of gradual promotion of inclusion.
