Summary/Abstract: The foreign expansion of Polish science is a sign of modern times. The information concerning Polish scientific journals in the Emerging Sources Citation Index is the best example of this. They show the multi-faceted nature of the changes taking place. Polish journals more and more often start to publish in English on the open Internet, more and more often publish articles with cross-border affiliation, and the Web of Science platform is becoming more and more popular. Over time, both journals and the authors who publish in them adapt to the environment and expand their impact. The aim of the article is to signal the changes in Polish scientific journals and present the information regarding Polish journals in the Emerging Sources Citation Index provided by Clarivate Analytics.
