LOCUTIONS AND COLLOCATIONS BASED ON THE SOMATIC LEXICON IN BERBER (KABYLE): STUDY ON THE LEXEME UL "HEART"

Summary/Abstract: We propose here through a corpus of Berber (Kabyle) locutions containing the lexeme ul "heart", drawn mainly from dictionaries, to make the departure between idioms, collocations and free combinations of words. We will first approach the concepts of idiom and collocation, opposed to the free combination of words, trying to give definitions clear enough to be applied rigorously to our corpus, and will end with the analysis of our material and the resulting conclusions.
