Summary/Abstract: Metropolitan Bartholomew has always been concerned with the Logos, the word that conquers through accuracy of meaning and song. He was always anchored in the history of the nation, in this incessant struggle of the Romanian spirit for freedom. Metropolitan Bartolomeu actually performs an act of creation at the literary level, similar to the original act of creation; the universe he created is based on biblical thinking, on religious substance, on Christian moral values but also on other areas with which he crossed during his life. He devoted himself fervently to the biblical text, thereby seeking to place himself in the service of the Word. The biblical texture, was his inspiration to write, constantly seeking to capture the importance of biblical language for the memory of the Romanian people.
