Summary/Abstract: The paper concentrates on analogic noun forms production in pre-school and early school-aged children. The author explains the terms children’s analogism, hypergeneralization, with the emphasis on alternation changes in declension, the result of which is the variant form of the same semantic units. Based on the case study that uses picture reading, the paper observes analogisms of forms used by five children, aged 5.5 to 7.1. The attention is paid to occurrencces and frequency of children’s analogisms. The data are analyzed and interpreted and primary and secondary findings are presented.
