Summary/Abstract: Pandemics are diseases that occur as a result of an infection and can spread directly or indirectly from one person to another or from one animal to another. In this sense, the contact of people with each other due to the nature of pandemics is the most important cause of spreading. In this respect, migration, a phenomenon in which people collectively co-exist and move, causes pandemics to spread. In particular, national and international travels of travelers and migrants exposed to the pandemic agent imprudently can accelerate the spread of pandemic to new regions. Therefore, migration appears to have an important role in the spread of pandemics. However, it is clear that more scientific evidence is needed on this subject. Pandemics are a public health issue, with the potential to affect both migrants and communities of origin in many different ways. In this regard, public health policy makers should take steps to prevent migration-related pandemics. These include vaccination studies, travel restrictions, quarantine practices, etc.
