Summary/Abstract: The significance of the supervised practice teaching portfolio lies apparent not only in the university study itself and in the course of supervised teaching practice, but also when applying for a teaching job as well as during the graduate's actual educational work. Information stored in the portfolio can be used for lesson preparation, its execution as well as for solving various educational problems of future teachers. The portfolio, thus, becomes a manual and a guidebook for educational work of a novice teacher. The final part of the contribution contains students' views of the portfolio's preparation and utilization in the university educational process and in the execution of supervised teaching practice.
