Summary/Abstract: Migration processes are related to movement of people from one place to another as the scale, scope and forms of migration are influenced by multiple factors. When migration occurs, it has been observed a tendency for temporary or permanent movement from one geographically specified place to another. Usually migration processes are caused by change or desire for a change in someone’s life, as the nature of the cause could be of natural, economic, military or other origin. The control of migration flows in case of cross-border health threat could be characterized as a particular challenge. These types of threats include life-threatening or other serious hazards to health security on national and international level. Cross-border threats to health have been characterized by its significant risk on the extend of the spread expanding beyond national borders. This circumstance requires the adoption of adequate, proportionately and timely measures, as to result of which high level of protection of citizens and national health systems to be ensured, as an element of national security.
