Summary/Abstract: Implementing training policy in the enterprise brings unquestionable benefits to the organization. It usually supports the process of building a positive image and market position of the institution. At the same time, in-company training allows employees to increase their professional, and thus increase their motivation for work. A knowledge-based organization as well as the presence of “knowledge workers” within the organization involves a different view of competences i.e. the employee capital is perceived as strategic assets. During training employees acquire professional knowledge that enables effective company management in every industry, especially hotel industry. A well trained manager who makes apt personnel and economic decisions guarantees competitiveness. Changes on the hotel services market require adaptation through training and continuous improvement of skills.Implementing training policy in the enterprise brings unquestionable benefits to the organization.
