Professional activity and the quality of life of people with various degrees and types of disability

Summary/Abstract: The subject of the research is the quality of life of people with various degrees and types of disabilities who are professionally active. A total of 119 people took part in a survey. The respondents comprised of people with physical, somatic and mental disabilities as well as mild and moderate disabilities. Schalock’s Sense of Life Quality Questionnaire was used in the Polish adaptation of Juros. The obtained results show that the studied groups experience a similar average level of overall quality of life. However, within its individual dimensions, the quality of life of people with mobility disabilities and people with moderate disabilities was assessed the lowest.
