Summary/Abstract: This text is written as an essay on two volumes (Îngerul Adâncului, The Angel of the Deep, 537 p. and, quite recently, Adam, 549 p.) of the poet Eugen Dorcescu’s diary (almost daily notes between1991 and 2010). The diary belongs to a fine connoisseur of the Bible and, equally, of the theory of the textMany pages of the diary contain, among other thoughts and appreciations, statements that can be considered starting and supporting points for a possible poetics based on the biblical text. In fact, the poet’s creation after 1990 (simultaneous with the writing of the journal) will (voluntarily) be based almost exclusively on a biblical basis.
