Summary/Abstract: Inclusive education in Bulgaria is a frequently discussed issue. It is considered in the context of students with special educational needs who are educated in mainstream schools, support teams, their methods and tasks for inclusion and training of these students, general education teachers and the difficulties they encounter in this process; students without disorders at school and their perception of the situation; the financing of the process, etc. The present study aims to provide a theoretical overview and comparison in the policies and implementation of inclusive education, as well as to prove in practice what is happening in the secondary schools of two neighboring countries - Bulgaria and Serbia.
