Summary/Abstract: The review considers a monograph by Petr Tomšej entitled Discrimination in the Workplace. The author of the book, a lawyer by profession, considers discrimination to be a very serious problem that must be combated on the basis of and through valid legislation. Thanks to its relatively narrow focus, which addresses the situation only in the workplace, the book holds to a very specific and comprehensible framework. It provides the reader with a thorough insight into the issue and, thanks to very clearly presented advice and instructions, it can also be considered to be a guide to when and how to prevent discrimination in the workplace.
