Some Reflections on the Institution of Delegation of Duties in Administrative Law

Summary/Abstract: In this paper we have analysed the meanings of the concept of delegation, its types and peculiarities in the light of the current doctrine and legislation, taking into account with predilection the regulations of the new Administrative Code in the field. The central place in the study is the delegation of tasks, with the objective of detecting the limits of this type of delegation and the responsibility of the delegations, civil servants or public officials, for the way in which the tasks transferred by the holder of the public office or dignity or by his superior are carried out. The differences between delegation of duties and delegation of signature provided for in certain special rules are also delisted.
