Summary/Abstract: Objects have a very high significance, not only because of their utilitarian function, but also because of their psychological impact. Relationships are established between people and objects. Science and technology have generated standardization, but, through an irony of fate, humanity does not suffer from a lack of choice, but from an excess of choices, of options, a specific dilemma to industrialization, when the advantages of diversity and individualization are nullified by the complexity of the design decision taking process by the buyer.
