Summary/Abstract: By accepting the inheritance, the heir does not gain a new right, but strengthens what he obtained by the effect of the law from the moment of the death of the author and loses the possibility to waive the inheritance. The acceptance of the inheritance, depending on the way the heir is reporting to it, is either free will, at its turn of two types – express and implicit, or as consequence of applying of a sanction following certain deeds, therefore forced acceptance. As legal regime, the acceptance of the inheritance is a unilateral act, and its effect, as previously mentioned, is consolidation the quality of heir, finishing the inheritance transmission which operated from the moment of the death.
