Real Crossover: the Janikovszky–Réber “Picturebook”

Summary/Abstract: The study is actually the expose of the doctoral dissertation entitled Intermedial correspondence between text and illustration in “children’s prose” by Éva Janikovszky. The defense of the dissertation took place on 8 July 2015 at the University of Novi Sad, Faculty of Philosophy, Department of Hungarian Language and Literature. The present paper summarizes the results of the study, with especial regard to the jointly created “picturebook” of the authors Janikovszky–Réber; respectively it provides an outlook to the afterlife of Éva Janikovszky’s illustrated texts.
