Summary/Abstract: To the kanagjeq (henna night)'s rite, whether traditional or contemporary, is given relatively great importance by our society, traditional until yesterday. From the scientific or ethnographic knowledge of this rite, it is well known about the repertoire of sad songs that are an integral part of art, while many often, we have neglected to miss important emotional moments that are an integral part of it. Despite the general opinion that traditional kanagjeq (henna night), as a ritual, has only moments of pain, empirical data prove the opposite. So, in this generally painful ritual, there are also moments when songs of a cheerful character are sung. And the change of the musical repertoire during the singing in the traditional kanagjeq, from the singing of the girls who until then tended to create a sorrowful atmosphere and the transition of that atmosphere to a joyful one, will be the treatment in this work. In this form, trying to illustrate and compare this change in the repertoire of songs of the kanagjeq rite songs from the textual and musical point of view, I will try to point out this emotional part that happened during the traditional kanagjeq.
