MUZEU I LIRISË NË QYTETIN E SHKUPIT
THE FREEDOM MUSEUM IN THE CITY OF SKOPJE

Summary/Abstract: The field of museology in recent decades has aroused interest and dedication of study. The constant discourse of various topics about museums has succeeded in their development. In this paper I will address as a central theme "The Museum of Freedom in the city of Skopje". The purpose of this paper is to contribute to the field of museology. The idea to deal more with this topic came to me after I visited the museum for the first time in 2016. The museum in question was opened to visitors in 2009 in the neighborhood of Chair. As part of our research for this work are some museums in the city of Skopje, for which we have made a comparison with the Museum of Freedom, discussing that the one-sided investments in cultural heritage show dissatisfaction and division of communities.
