Summary/Abstract: The article discusses the basic principles of the Soviet planned economy and its scientific base. The author pays particular attention to the problems of human life in such an economic model. Criticising the main principle of the Soviet economy - "The Man is an element of production", the author thinks about the questions: what is the price of greatness of the Soviet Union and its management model? What science has served the Soviet ideology? To what effect did all this lead?
