Summary/Abstract: An important collection of “Paul Păltănea” History Museum of Galați is the correspondence of professor Paul Păltănea It became a part of the patrimony of the museum in 2015 and it covers the period comprised between 1946 and 2007. For his researches done upon some historical and literary topics, professor paul Păltănea availed not only on bibliographic sources from libraries and archives (from Romania and from abroad) but also on information conveyed by various cultural and scientific personalities.
