Summary/Abstract: The pandemic has generated changes in education as well, and the classic teaching and assessment system is being challenged to adapt. In this context, through this material I propose to research solutions to the need for ethical online evaluation in the university environment, believing that this social situation pushes us to non-temporary changes, and the search for solutions to respond to it should not be postponed. In the first part, I analyze online education and the role of student assessment, following the specifics of university education. In the second part, I follow the main methods and directions of evaluation, going through the continuation of the evaluation of data stored on the old format, the evaluation of data in a new, complex and fast format, the evaluation of skills and abilities and the evaluation of creativity. From the analysis of these directions I notice that the evaluation of data storage cannot be done in the online environment without significant risks of fairness and integrity, while other methods and directions are opening up. Thus, a blockage (in one direction) becomes, in fact, a stimulus to move forward (in another direction or in other conditions). Then, I develop the ethical solution that seems most effective, namely to evaluate what is specific to man today, and finally make concrete proposals for evaluation according to the principles of the analysis, considering that evaluation can be done in the form of a) complex tests with data correlation requirements, b) case analysis, c) final written projects or d) oral project presentations. And the forms of such evaluations can vary, and it is not possible to talk about an exhaustive list of them. These forms can also be combined or realized in stages to capture the student's abilities from several perspectives. Finally, I conclude that Ethics requires progress and takes things to a new level of evaluation.
