Selected aspects of development of economic activity in Poland after its accession to the European Union

Summary/Abstract: The paper presents an analysis of economic activity led by private persons in Poland in 2004-2010, excluding the activities related to agriculture. The article characterizes different types of activities, occurring trends and their causes. It also shows the structure of economic activity of private persons, both applying to its kind and the number of employees. It shows changes in the structure and the assessment of the current situation made by the owners of companies.
