Comparative analysis of the level of development of local communities on the basis of selected municipalities in Podkarpackie voivodeship

Summary/Abstract: In the situation of constant transformations taking place in Poland, the issue of studying the social and economic development of particular areas assumes specific importance. Municipalities are varied in terms of their development: some are advanced and prosperous, others are poor and economically backward. In this context the research objective was an attempt to present the level of development of selected municipalities in Podkarpackie voivodeship in the years 2006-2008, with the use of Territorial Community Development Capacity Index.
