Alternative ways of financing polish enterprises – importance and selection criteria

Summary/Abstract: Currently majority of enterprises regardless of the legal form, type of conducted activities is forced to search for alternative ways of its financing. The main aim of the article is to present external sources of financing economic activity of polish companies, especially from small and medium-sized enterprises. Moreover, the obstacles in using external financing and ways of their eliminating were presented. Furthermore the assessment of level of facility in usage of such financing form was conducted. In the course of analytical proceedings secondary studies were used, which were based mainly on reports from Central Statistical Office , Innovation Development Agency and Polish Agency for Enterprise Development.
