Summary/Abstract: Urinary catheter is the main risk factor for the development of the urinary tract infections. provides bacteria simple access to the bladder. The urinary tract infections associated with the catheterization are very common frequented and account for 80% of the predominant nosocomial urinary tract infections. The aim of the paper is to present a way to minimize the occurrence of infections in the provision of health care. The area of the prevention urogenital tract infections associated with the provision of health care appears to be multidisciplinary issues. it‘s not just about independent performance of the catheterization, but also about the settings directives, standards nursing care and on compliance with barrier care.
