Summary/Abstract: The paper discusses the concept and the essence of stability and financial instability of financial stability − a systemic approach and the theory of economics, construction of a new regulatory architecture in Europe as part of the risk management of financial instability and post-crisis solutions and proposals for the Polish market. The construction of a new financial architecture in Europe will certainly have the major impact on reducing the risk of financial instability. The intensification of international cooperation and reform of global institutions of supervisors is only the first step to enhance the effectiveness of supervision of financial markets. The most important areas for further improvement are: the analysis of the macrosystem risks, strengthening banking supervision and better regulation of risk financial instruments.
