Summary/Abstract: Competitiveness indicates how successful one company is in the market compared to other companies offering similar products. Businesses must be competitive if they are to successfully sell both their products and their services. In this regard, companies, each for itself, adopt, develop and implement an appropriate competitive strategy. In doing so, they are based on Porter's generic strategies of cost, ie price leadership, differentiation and, finally, focus on specific target groups, segments or market (Porter, 1980).
