Summary/Abstract: The article presents the work of four less well-known architects in Romania, graduates of the Higher School of Architecture in Bucharest – Ion D. Enescu (1884–1973), Sterie Becu (1883–1970), Nicolae Georgescu (1892–1987) and Jean Burcuş (1896–1987) who have activated especially during the interwar period. Through the numerous architectural works, through the competitions they attended and the awards they won, through their journalistic activity, they can be considered to be heritage creators of modern Romania.
