Summary/Abstract: The „transfiguration” of the 1990s national scene reflected the result of the reversal interactions and influences of the director-text, being determined both by the drama of dramatic works and by the efforts of performers to find a adequate und coherent scenic formula for this drama. The Postmodernity has favored the emergence of directors who took the theater into another area, which was also of considerable importance for theater writing. In the partner dialogue with the young playwrights of the Republic of Moldova came the stage directors Mihai Fusu, Sandu Cozub, Mihai Ţărna, Dumitru Griciuc, Emil Gaju and others. Petru Vutcărău assumes the role of director-dictator, re-reading the postmodern national pieces, transforming them into his own scenarios and dictating his creative authority. The perspectives of dramaturgic material approach by the directors are surprising, complementing dramaturgical elements and adding expressiveness to them. The performances at the theaters „Luceafărul”, „Eugene Ionesco”, „Alexei Mateevici” from Chisinau and „Vasile Alecsandri” National Theater in Balti reveal these types of reading of postmodern national pieces.
